About Us

Simon Community Development Initiative is a Nigerian NGO, registered as an Incorporated Trustee under the Corporate Affairs Commission, delivering six named programmes — orphan and vulnerable child care, food security, essential needs, education and youth development, community water and health, and economic empowerment — to communities in Ebonyi State and, as our record of delivery grows, across the country. We were founded on a simple discipline: name the programme, publish the number, and never describe our work in language broader than what we can actually show. Our results will be reviewed by our Board every quarter and published on our website from the first quarter of 2027. and published on the same schedule — not disclosed only when asked.

Simon Community Development Initiative is governed by a Board of Trustees — Chibuzor Simon (Executive Director), Egwu Toochukwu Emmanuel (Trustee), and Enene Nsed Fonne-Okang (Secretary & Treasurer) — operating under a Constitution that prohibits any distribution of income to Trustees or members, consistent with Part F of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020. Our mandate is national. Our office is in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, and that is where our work started — not where it ends.
